A violin, made and labeled by John Paul Moroz in 2002. The violin has a two-piece back of broadly flamed maple, with the flames descending from the center.
Born in New York City in 1954, Moroz studied making at the school in Salt Lake City under Peter Prier and Chris DeGroot. Moroz’ instruments are Strad violin and cello models, and Andrea Guarneri viola models.
