Hailing from the seaside town of Gloucester, Massachusetts, Emerald began her journey deep in the world of Celtic music and dance. She’s a US National Scottish Fiddle Champion and a graduate of Berklee College of Music, and an accomplished multi-style stepdancer.

As a fiddler-singer-songwriter, she has performed as a solo act at festivals and concert stages all over North America. She also hosts a weekly Celtic Session in Nashville on Thursdays at the Nations Bar.
