A quality instrument is key to the beginning of every musician’s journey, which is why all of us here at The Violin Shop believe that providing great rentals is one of the most important things we do. Our rental program is straightforward and user-friendly. We stock our inventory with superior rental instruments that are set up in our shop to maximize playability and quality of sound. Our renters are certain to receive the finest customer service and the same level of attention that our professionally playing customers have grown to expect from The Violin Shop. Parents, teachers and students- we are here to make your playing experience as enjoyable as possible. All rental outfits include the instrument, a protective case, fiberglass bow and student rosin.

The Violin Shop Rental Package:
All rental packages include an instrument, bow, case and rosin. All instruments are shop-adjusted to meet The Violin Shop standards and include new student grade steel or synthetic core strings and a Wittner tailpiece with built-in fine tuners.
Replacement of up to one set of strings and one bow per year, and repairs and/or adjustments required due to a faulty instrument or setup will be covered by The Violin Shop at no cost to the renter.
Rental Cost:
Rental price per month (+9.25% TN State Sales Tax for TN residents)
Violin- $25.00
Viola- $30.00
Cello- $60.00
Equity:
100% of rental payments (not including tax, insurance or late fees) can be accrued as equity.
Equity may be applied to up to 50% of the purchase of any new or The Violin Shop labeled instrument, modern bow, case or outfit.
Maintenance and Insurance Program:
Rental insurance is available for an additional cost per month. Insurance is hassle free and covers all repairs, adjustments and replacement of rental package, excluding loss or theft.

Violin- $5.00
Viola- $6.00
Cello- $12.00
Conditions:
A valid form of identification verifying current address and a valid credit card for security are required to start a rental contract.
Renter is responsible for damage, destruction or loss of an instrument beyond generally accepted play wear, unless insured under the rental insurance program.
The first 3 months’ payment is due at the start of the rental contract.
