Workshop/Maker

Ryan Hammonds is a graduate of the Violin Making and Repair program at North Bennet Street School in Boston, MA, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Middle Tennessee State University, and is a veteran of the US Navy.

While learning to love music at a young age, a passion for the violin family came as an adult. During his time in the Navy’s Submarine Force and while under the direction of Roman Barnas, he developed an exacting attention to detail and devotion to high standards, which is directly reflected in the quality of his workmanship.

Ryan currently makes violins, violas, and cellos out of his workshop in Nashville, TN.
