Excellent craftsmanship with mild antiquing and shading of varnish, well aged chinese tone wood with slightly figured maple. Very responsive and colorful tonal characteristics. Warm and sweet with good projection. An excellent step-up instrument for a serious player looking to upgrade from a basic student viola.
